I'm pedalling to Italy this September in memory of my mum who passed away in December 2022 after a battle with cancer. The journey will be around 1200 miles with 53,000ft of climbing and include the iconic Alpe d'Huez mountain climb. I will finish in Case Stantini where I will meet some family and friends before hiking up Monte Cusna My mum spent her last few weeks being looked after by the amazing staff at the Katherine House Hospice in Banbury. The Katharine House Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with incurable illnesses.
