Join us for a virtual ride around Scotland's North Coast 500 this June.
The NC500 starts in the northern city of Inverness, weaves along the west coast to Applecross and then northwards towards the towns of Torridon and Ullapool. From there, you'll venture to some of the most northerly coastal points in Scotland, passing by Caithness and John o' Groats before heading south again through Dingwall and finally back to Inverness.
At 510 miles (820 km) it will take an average of 115 miles a week to cover the complete route. As a virtual event any cycling activity uploaded to Map My Tracks will help propel you along the route starting in Inverness then heading off to the west coast before riding north to the top of Scotland.
This is not a race but feel free to try and complete it as quickly as you can. Likewise, take your time if you prefer. You have all of June to complete the course.
To participant, join the event and start logging the rides on Map My Tracks.
