Local overnight gravel ride for CBC club members. It's a great weekend ride to try out bikepacking for the first time or if you fancy being self-sufficient for a couple of days. Starting from Canterbury this route is a 50:50 mix of gravel and road riding suitable for any bike with over 32c tyres. It will be rough in places and there may be some hike-a-bike stretches. You have been warned! The aim of this ride is to have a great weekend on the bike, not to ride fast. It will be ridden at a steady pace over challenging terrain.

The campsite has a pub along side it to provide an evening meal or bring your own meal if you prefer. The route has some resupply stops but bring enough food as there is no guarantee they will be open when we pass by.
